Dark Chocolate & Banana-Oat Rounds

Ingredients: (Yields 8)

  • 2 large bananas, peeled
  • 1 & 3/4 cups quick oats
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp. ground flax seed

Directions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and set aside.
  2. In a medium sized bowl, use a fork or a masher to mash 2 peeled bananas.

3. Combine the oats and ground flax seed with the mashed bananas, and mix together evenly.

4. Add the dark chocolate chips to the bowl, and mix. Take care to disperse chocolate chips evenly throughout the mixture as best you can.

5. From this mixture, form 8 small balls and place each ball evenly onto the baking sheet.

6. Place baking sheet in the oven, and heat for 15-20 minutes. You should see a golden brown color start to appear on the bottom of the balls when they are done.
